Public Response to Trump’s Unilateral Policy Making: The Case of DACA

Like his predecessors, President Donald J. Trump deployed multiple unilateral tools to achieve policy goals that reflected campaign promises or emergent priorities that were unlikely to have successful legislative solutions.
